Pointer Excel II Digital Acupuncture & Pressure Point Locator is the newest self-healing gadget to hit the market.  I am a big fan of acupuncture.  I used to visit my acupuncturist every other week but with my hectic schedule at work, I couldn’t insert the time to visit him anymore.  I bought the product to see if it can be a good alternative to visiting the acupuncturist. 

Electroacupuncture is the new term for this gadget.  It doesn’t use any needles.  In exchange for the needles, it has a pointed part that can detect acupuncture points and stimulate that point.  When you turn the gadget on and gently let the detection probe run through your palm, the gadget will locate pressure points.  It will flash when it has detected one.  All you need is to stimulate that point by using the same pointed probe. 

Is it better than my acupuncturist?  No.  My acupuncturist is the best.  But it’s the second best.  I love that I can do acupuncture on myself any time I want to.  I love the sensation when I stimulate the pressure points that the gadget has detected.  I love that it is handy and that in a way it makes me feel more relaxed. 

As for the treatment of aches and pains, my acupuncture session with my acupuncturist is effective but I notice that this digital acupuncture device can improve the little strains and pains in my body.  I always have experience neck pain at work and when I use the pressure point locator and digital acupuncture on my palms and my soles, the neck pain dissipates in a short time.
